This is the best "motel" I've ever stayed at. My room was clean, charming, and had real ambiance. If I come back to the area, I will definitely stay here again.

The renovations are very nice. Room is very clean, comfortable and updated. My reason for a 4 star is because it advertises a "grab and go" breakfast. We were there for 3 days. First morning there was yogurt, Juice, Cereal and milk. Also granola type bars. 2nd and third mornings..yogurt, cereal, juice and granola bars. No milk. Asked manager or whomever was there on first morning without milk and he said ..oh we're out..so I would have thought for sure there'd be some the next day but ...no! Also, no irons, ironing boards or hairdryers in units. Didn't realize the hairdryer until after my shower . Finally found a # to call for "Weekender". Gentleman asked which facility we were in and when I told him he said they've had a delay getting them for all the units so they were available in the lobby area. They were as was an iron and ironing board. Enjoyed the unit except for the above mentioned items.

I came in mai 2023 they have old room but i enjoy my stay. In come back in october and all renovated the room, the extérior and now receive a email for your room number and digit . My stay was again perfect and will come back anytime ...

we were here in the middle of their recent renovations and so the regular cafeteria was closed, so breakfast was served in one of the rooms downstairs, which was a little weird, but worked just fine for us. we got one of the recently renovated rooms and they did a really beautiful job of it. the pillows were a bit uncomfortable-- too overstuffed for me but I'm very picky about my pillows so im not counting that against my five star rating. i actually liked the check-in/, out procedure. it was done all over phone and text, but they were really responsive and nice and accommodating. make your reservations through their site instead of a booking website and they will give you a AAA discount.

The check-in was a little odd, but the room we got was recently renovated and super comfy and clean! We were very happy staying there for 2 nights. My son was so excited to find out that they had all his favorite movies and tv shows accessible on the tv, which is not the norm; totally appreciated!!!!! Beds were cozy and water pressure was great, so we were very happy!

We stayed one night (Sunday) on the way back home during a 1,400 mile trip aroung Lake Ontario (first with our fully electric car). We chose the hotel since it has a Level-2 and a Tesla charging stations (both free). The room was clean and comfortable. It had just been completely remodeled. We had trouble getting into our rooms. We got a text on the day of arrival which was supposed to provide instructions after completing the form. However there were no instructions. There was no staff upon arrival and it took quite a while for us to finally get into our rooms (phone went to voicemail, texting had a long response time). Later that night, a staff member showed up (doing the laundry) and I showed Danny that the text message system failed to provide room instructions. He said he would bring it to management's attention.

Nice little motel Clean rooms, nice and updated with a Nantucket feel. There’s a pool But it was closed when we visited.

Nous avons eu la chance d’essayer une des chambres rénovées. Nous nous sommes sentis comme des invités et non des clients. Tout était propre et plein de petites attentions ( draps qui sentent bon, lit douillet, arrivée autonome, chambre spacieuse, tres belle cue - voir photo…). Dehors aussi tout est là (tables a picnic, BBQ, vélos, quelques trois de mini putt…). On a été impressionnés!

Great place to stay! Spent 5 days there while visiting our Son. Friendly accommodating staff. Newly renovated keyless entry rooms with comfortable beds, soft fluffy towels, and Beekman 1802 toiletries. Starbucks coffee pods in the room ! Felt like a five-star hotel!

An older motel in the middle of some nice upgrades. I got one of the updated rooms, a welcome respite from the road. Bed was great, my 1st time with the keypad door lock- worked fine. Would happily stay there again next time I'm stopping in Tupper Lake.

The rooms were neat and clean, friendly staff, beds are very comfy, the breakfast was good too. Great location to stay. I will definitely recommend friends to come and stay here.

Nice place. Not far from other places and prices are very affordable.

Clean cozy old school inn, convenient location and nice restaurants in the area. A little musty smell, but it looks like they’re doing renovations upstairs .

Nice Hotel and good Service!!

We were in town for the University Games in Lake placid and didn’t want to pay over inflated hotel prices that Lake Placid decided was a good idea for the event. About 30-35 minutes away is Tupper Lake. Shaheens is an Older Motel but the rooms are cozy and nice and clean. It was a very easy check in and out procedure too. Highly recommended if in town or the surrounding areas for any reason.

We arrived late, and the staff was very accommodating.

We loved our one night stay here! We had an early morning appt at the Wild Center and decided spending the before would be easier than an early morning 2 hour drive. The Inn did no disappoint! HUGE room, lots of space and pillows, and a quick drive to the mini mart for dinner supplies. Breakfast in the morning offered a large selection and all 5 of us ate well. The Wild Center was just 2 minutes away, bonus! We're already planning our next trip up in the summer and can't wait to see the completed renovations (renovations which by the way did not affect the quality of our stay).

I tagged along with my significant other for a business trip. The inn has its charm. It was very clean and cozy. Our microwave didn't work but we used the common breakfast room. Breakfast was offered and surprisingly good. The walls are thin tho so you can hear everything. No issue finding a parking spot and it's very close to everything. Reasonably priced.

Was really suprised. I don’t stay in motels unless I have to but this one was more than worth it. Price was great and it was clean. The check in guy was very friendly and pleasant. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay in again while I’m in the area again. The owner responds to every review. That’s rare now days but shows there is attention and a level of care here. It made me want to write the review before I even left.

We love the Adirondacks. We were there to catch up with family. The hotel was great . I love a firm mattress and that is what I got. Front desk staff was accommodating and gave us good local recommendations . We the breakfast was not really special. I can't even say continental. But the coffee was hot . We will stay the again when we are back in the area

Clean. Friendly... Near all the Adirondack sights.

This was a great place to stay for our trip to Tupper Lake for the weekend, and apparently everyone else thought so too, the place was packed. Despite it being so full of people, we weren't disturbed by anyone or any noise for other guests. The tvs have volume locks put on them, so everyone can hear their own TV and no one else's, which is nice. The room was clean and the mini fridge was spacious. It's a good spot.

Anyone reading my reviews knows that I do not give 5 stars too easily. Shaheen's reserves 5 stars and more. It rivals any large chain hotel. For a 4-day stay it had everything we could possibly want: lots of towels, very large bedroom, lots of drawer space and hangers, and clean inside and outside.

Clean, clean, large rooms!!

Very clean and organized. The only Motel that offers both soft and firm pillows on the beds. I was pleasantly surprised about that. Friendly. Highly recommend staying there while on vacation so book early

This place is so clean! They don’t miss a spot. It is an older place but everything looks like new. I would highly recommend it!

Clean safe budget better than the big huge motels hotels I’ve been in. Highly recommend. And customer service top notch. Will definitely come back thank you so much.

The room is extremely clean. This was my second time visiting via snowmobile. It's right off the trail and a great place to stay. I'll be back again next year.

I love this place. Decor is a little dated but the rooms are spacious and very clean! ADK as it should be!

We stayed here for just shy of a week in October 2021. We could not have been happier! Yes, it has a “vintage” aesthetic. The decor is a throwback to my childhood, but it looks like new! The staff was friendly. The room was spotless. This is obviously a place the owners hold dear and take pride in. They work very hard to keep it spotless. Mind you, we usually stay at Whiteface Lodge during ski season. This is a complete 180 and we loved every minute! Will definitely book again. Thanks

Friendly down to earth people

We loved staying at Shaheen's Adirondack Inn! The room is well kept up and very clean. There was plenty of room to park our snowmobile trailer and there is easy access some beautiful groomed trails right from the parking lot. It is also close to several restaurants. We will definitely stay there whenever we visit Tupper Lake.

We stayed for only one night to do some winter hiking the next morning. Arrived late, left early and the entire experience was very easy and convenient. This budget friendly hotel is super clean and is a place you must stay at when visiting Tupper Lake or the surrounding areas. We will be back. Thank you!

Best motel in Tupper Lake. Has two rooms for the handicap. Can't beat it for for Adirondack accommodations.

Based on ratings we decided to stay at Shaheen’s. We were not disappointed. All reviews were accurate and we agree totally. We have been grave for 2 weeks and this was the best and cleanest we experienced.

Really hard working couple, cleaning and up keeping the property and pool. We had a huge room. It just really smelled. The carpet, the pillows, and the bed all had sweaty man smell. Room was clean, sheets and towels were clean but those pillows and mattress need an up date.

Very nice store great selection of items, great staff and service. Sorry reviewed the wrong Shaheen, have never been to the Inn.

Excellent. Definitely a perfect destination in the Adirondacks. We had a lovely quiet stay in a beautiful clean room. Very close to downtown Tupper Lake. The staff were very welcoming and made us feel right at home.
